Adult Cethosia biblis butterflies are easily recognized by their vibrant orange-red wings adorned with black and white lace-like markings. The underside of the wings presents a softer palette, with intricate patterns in shades of brown, white, and pink, providing camouflage. This coloration serves a dual purpose: attracting mates and evading predators.
