Lime Hawk-Moths (Mimas tiliae) have camouflage patterning accross their wings, which occurs in various shades of green, brown, rusty reds - some unusual forms have also been recorded in this species, such as the form centripunctata which occasionally shows up in this lineage! All stages of this moth’s lifecycle are easy to care for, making it friendly for any experience level. Though named after its favourite host plant, Lime (Tiliae), caterpillars also do very well on plants like Cherry, Birch, Willow, Alder, and potentially some others.
