Danaus chrysippus EGGS
This is a lovely, colourful butterfly that is even easier to care for than its cousin, the Monarch (D. plexippus). Thankfully, due to its smaller size, chrysippus requires much less food plant so are not nearly as much work, and they grow very quickly to complete the lifecycle. Breeding is easy in sunny conditions, and butterflies will lay eggs on Milkweed (Asclepias) and related plants like Araujia. Pupae are like miniature of the monarchs and caterpillars have charming stripes!
