These swallowtails inhabit a variety of habitats, including forests and wooded areas. They are nectar feeders, often seen visiting flowering plants for sustenance. The larvae of this species primarily feed on host plants from the citrus family, including: Citrus, Choisya, Skimmia, Phellodendron, Zanthoxylum, Tetradium. It is a very easy species to maintain in captivity.
