The Luzon Tree of Heaven Silkmoth is closely related to the Tree of Heaven SIlkmoth (Samia cynthia) and the Eri Silkmoth (Samia ricini), however this species is more challenging to breed and rear. The moths are bright and have beautiful pink striping on the wings. Whilst breeding and rearing is hard, the cocoons are very easy to hatch out, treat them as any other species. Caterpillars will eat Privet, Lilac, Sweetgum, and Ailanthus.
