This is a beautiful, mid-sized silkmoth from Central America. Although fairly understated at first glance, these moths have intricate patterning and occur in a variety of colours - from greyish to chocolate-brown.

Caterpillars are extremely fun to rear with their bright colours. They turn bright pink when ready to spin their cocoons!
