Actias ningpoana, commonly known as the Chinese Moon Moth, is a stunning moon moth found in China, particularly in the Ningpo region. This moth is renowned for its captivating appearance, with large, often featuring striking shades of green and pink. With a wingspan of approximately 12-15 centimeters, it's an impressive sight. The larvae of this species feed on various deciduous tree leaves: Birch, Hawthorn, Willow, Oak, Sweetgum, Walnut, Cherry Laurel, Portugal Laurel. It is extremely easy to rear and breed in captivity.
